Program Overview

Learn to drive at LEAP’s Driving School where we put the needs of the learners first. We cater for the learners individually whether they are nervous or find it hard to concentrate. Our instructors base their teaching on our core values, the three P's; professionalism, patience and perseverance.

At LEAP’s Driving School we would recommend it is better for the learning process to have at least 2 consecutive lessons per week. From previous learner experience we have been told it allows more time to practice driving standards and revise manoeuvres than what would be covered in a hour slot. By regularly enforcing your driving during a single week you will progress at a much accelerated pace.

The Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency has a really good website where you can find more helpful information by clicking. here.

Most importantly, the website explains all about the steps to follow so you can learn to drive see here.

It also explains all about the Theory test, which you have to pass before booking a practical test, and about the Practical test, including examples of the Vehicle Safety questions you may be asked in what is known as the “Show and Tell” section which you can review here.

You will also see how to practise both sections of your theory driving test, both multiple choice and hazard perception. If you do need any help understanding this learning process we will be only too happy to help, using our contact form.
